The Senior Estimator analyzes blueprints, specifications, quotations & existing site conditions when necessary to thoroughly & accurately determine the time, cost, & labor of projects and assists the work of Estimators I & II as well as performing other departmental supportive functions. Compute cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost-effectiveness.
