The Instructional Assistant works collaboratively with special education teachers, general education teachers, related service providers, and other school staff to help students access the curriculum, develop independence, and make meaningful progress toward their academic, organizational, behavioral, and transition goals. General Description: The High School Instructional Assistant provides instructional, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students with diverse learning needs in both general education classrooms and the Academic Lab.
