Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.*2. Assist Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience.*3. Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.*4. Ensure the proper set up of all side stations in the outlet.*5. Have knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.*6. Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.*7. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.*8. Ensure cleaning schedule is adhered to and to the required standard9. Sweep, mop and polish restaurant.*10. Wash down bar; clean and polish equipment.*11. Clean lights, fans, chairs and tables.*12. Make sure all areas of the bars and restaurants are clean, including side boards.*13. Clean and mop lounge bar and equipment.*14. Assist barman with transporting of stock from Department Store Rooms.*15. Stock stipulated Food & Beverage areas with ice, as required.*16. Make sure bar and restaurant equipment is correctly stored.*17. Transport used linen to and from Housekeeping/Laundry for use in Food & Beverage service areas.*18. The Supervisor, Distribution Maintenance reviews, resolves and makes recommendations to the Director, Utility Operations on operational improvements related to the Distribution function in the E/W/C Division. Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervises and directs the activities of staff including work assignment, performance evaluation, and employee development; participates in employee selection, disciplinary action, and complaint resolution. Executes and maintains required maintenance program in accordance with the regulatory agency requirements in Connecticut (PURA). Plan, prioritize, assign, and review all activities related to the Company's maintenance programs (including, hydrants, valves, and flushing). Ensures all maintenance notifications are generated properly and assigned as required to support the annual department metrics. Maintain annual maintenance plan and associated work orders to ensure time tracking and metrics are coded and logged properly for ease of period reporting. Develop and maintain all Flushing Plans for assigned areas and maintain field records to document established flushing cycle with the CT DPH. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Expedites work-flow, diagnoses and remedies day-to-day problems, assigns and instructs field employees.</li><li>Establish schedules and methods for providing maintenance services: identify resource needs: review needs with Director, Utility Operations and allocate resources accordingly.</li><li>Participate in the development of department goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures.</li><li>Make recommendations for implementing and improvements to existing standards and SOP's.</li><li>Monitors work activities to ensure compliance and UOps department productivity.</li><li>Interfaces on a daily basis with our customer service department to resolve customer complaints for distribution system operations.</li><li>Insures maintenance of parts, materials and equipment to allow continuous operation.</li><li>Supports the Supervisor, Distribution Operations to help manage the emergency response to system failures with contractors or department emergency response crews.</li><li>Ensures proactive and positive labor relations, providing a climate where employees are encouraged to express views and receive answers in a timely manner.</li><li>Ensures that employees are provided with and maintain a progressive occupational health and safety program, in accordance with Company policy.</li><li>Required to maintain records, logs, maps, tap cards, etc.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly communication with the E/W/C Operations coordinating system operations, addressing all maintenance activity programs.</li><li>Supports the Supervisor, Distribution Operations to help perform inspection and supervision of contractors involved in emergency repair or capital programs.</li><li>Work with the Supervisor, Distribution Operations to develop a cross- training schedule to ensure all Distribution Department skills are developed in support of obtaining/maintaining a D3 license.</li></ul> Preferred RequirementsA minimum of seven (7) years' experience in the utility environment, including two years of lead or supervisory experience. Excellent communications, troubleshooting, and employee relations skills are required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and organizational skills.
