As part of a design team, the primary responsibilities of the Engineer based in AVCON's Columbia, South Carolina office are small and large airport infrastructure planning and design, stormwater design and permitting, pavement evaluations, airfield pavement designs, site and facilities design, commercial and airport site development layouts, utility system design, and related services. As dictated by client site protocol, candidate will be required to utilize proper personal protective equipment including but not limited to gloves, sleeves, leather protectors, hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses and shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, covers, helmets/hoods, and any additional tools required for the task at hand.
