p>Position Summary: Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Director of Student Support Services is responsible for implementing and maintaining District-wide Special Education programs conforming to district, state, and federal objectives and laws; planning, designing, and implementing all phases of programs and services provided by the Special Education staff; serving as a resource to students, parents, and staff and maintaining adequate staffing to ensure objectives of programs and services are achieved within budget.
Assists with the supervision and coordination of the creation and implementation of BSD operated programs and services for BSD resident students currently served in out-of-district center programs.
