Nurses are responsible for IV starts, drips, blood administration, EKGs, medication titrations, glucose monitoring, wound vac changes, complex and simple wound dressings, trach care, suctioning, straight cath, foley care, port access, central line dressing, and wound measurements. Patient population includes LVAD, CVA, ABI, SCI, wound care, CAPD, and ventilator patients within a medical (non-traditional Med/Surg) environment.
