Work Environment: Work is performed outside, in a vehicle, or on equipment where there is exposure to inclement weather, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, dirt and allergens, fumes or airborne particulars, fuels/gases, electrical currents, chemicals, high/precarious places, traffic/roadways, moving mechanical hazards, confined spaces, and uneven terrain. This Maintenance Worker III performs semi-skilled work in a variety of maintenance, repair, and construction assignments, safely using specialized tools and operating equipment to complete assigned work as part of the Wastewater Division within the Department of Public Utilities.
