Expert and conversant with latest version of NFPA 70 E. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair underground electrical systems including power distribution, substations, medium and high voltage feeder protection relays motors, MCCs, mobile equipment, communication systems, Allen Bradley Control Logix PLCs, VFD configuration, Soft Starter configuration and Testing, 3 Phase Starter Panels, Sump pumps, ventilation fans, lighting, ground fault monitors, terminator boxes, relays, 3 Phase 480volt contactors, anemometers, spectrum analyzers, level indicator transmitters, flow meter transmitters, thyristor testing, current injection testers, voltage and current data loggers. Under the general supervision of the Electrical Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for assembling, installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and mining equipment in both surface and underground environments.
