Duties

Help

Student Volunteers may assist with:

  • Providing administrative and operational support to program staff and leadership.
  • Organizing, collecting, tracking, and maintaining program information and records.
  • Assisting with workflow coordination and monitoring project activities.
  • Preparing reports, correspondence, meeting materials, and presentations.
  • Conducting basic research and compiling information for program initiatives.
  • Maintaining spreadsheets, databases, and electronic files.
  • Supporting meeting coordination, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Assisting with internal communications and customer service activities.
  • Performing other related administrative and program support duties as assigned.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
  • Males born after December 31, 1959 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service - http://www.sss.gov.
  • Documentation that you present for purposes of completing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Form I-9 will be verified through the DHS "E-Verify" System.
  • Appointment will be subject to the applicants successful completion of a background security investigation and favorable adjudication. All information concerning qualifications is subject to investigation.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
  • Maintain enrollment throughout the volunteer appointment.
  • Be in good academic standing with their educational institution.
  • Be able to comply with any applicable federal suitability or security requirements.

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Interest in public service, program management, administration, or project coordination.
