Sourcing Manager V # 26-24631

Contract Duration: 7 Months

Summary:
We work with a global network of vendors who supply human-annotated data supporting our AI research and product development. We're looking for a highly organized sourcing and program professional to support vendor onboarding and contracting execution. You'll be the connective tissue between our sourcing managers, business partners, and vendors - moving each engagement from selection through to a signed contract and a live program, and supporting ongoing supplier management and compliance once that program is live.
 
Responsibilities:

• Drive new annotation vendors through the end-to-end onboarding process — intake, reviews, contracting, systems and payment setup, kickoff.

• Support contracting and commercial workstreams: prepare documents, track rate cards and terms, manage amendments and renewals alongside Legal and Finance.

• Keep multiple vendor onboardings moving in parallel, unblock stalled approvals, and maintain clear status reporting.

• Partner with sourcing managers on vendor performance, governance, and business reviews.

• Synthesize vendor and program information into clean, executive-ready summaries.

 
Requirements – Must-Have Hard Skills:

• Demonstrated success negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor relationships

• Strong commercial negotiation skills across multiple levers beyond rates (volume discounts, quality thresholds, speed to quality, service levels)

• Program management experience with business stakeholders, cross-functional groups, and third parties

• Highly organized structured thinker; able to synthesize complex information into executive-ready summaries

 
Requirements – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience sourcing annotations for ML/AI or large language model development

• Experience managing high-volume data annotation sourcing programs

• Experience working with BPOs, crowdsource/freelance platforms, and boutique data vendors

• Experience breaking down vendor cost models and understanding ROI drivers

 
Degree/Certification: BS/BA degree

Required Years of Experience: 5-7+ years of outsourcing or strategic sourcing experience, ideally in tech or AI domains
Location: New York, NY - HYBRID Role [3x days ONSITE]
