General knowledge of heavy highway work and how a heavy civil contractor runs day to day, including earthwork, excavation and shoring, drainage, paving, bridge and structure work, demolition, maintenance and protection of traffic, quantities and daily reports, and equipment and crew planning. You will be responsible for clearing: Electric (National Grid): Overhead and underground lines, duct banks, manholes, vaults, transformers, and building services; de-energization, removal, circuit transfers, and line guarding near cranes and demolition.
