Key Responsibilities:Develop and grow a portfolio of new and existing customer accounts through proactive sales efforts and relationship building Source, negotiate, and secure carrier capacity to support customer freight needs while maximizing profit margins Manage the full freight lifecycle (cradle-to-grave), including booking, tracking, and delivery of shipments Utilize load boards, market data, and industry relationships to identify opportunities and cover freight efficientlyNegotiate rates with both customers and carriers to ensure competitive pricing and profitabilityProvide exceptional customer service, maintaining consistent communication with clients, carriers, and internal teams Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure on-time pickup and deliveryBuild and maintain strong relationships with carriers to drive repeat business and reliable serviceReview and manage shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper billing Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction . Qualifications & Skills:Proven experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, or account management preferred Strong sales acumen with the ability to close deals and grow accounts Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on margin optimizationAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and act decisively Outstanding communication skills (phone, email, and interpersonal) Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset Proficient in TMS systems, load boards, and Microsoft OfficeAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
