Performs duties as related to Fire Safety Director certification for Class B / Commercial buildings i.e. be familiar with the building and elements contained on the Building Information Card (BIC), be familiar with the written Fire Safety Plan, respond to building fire alarms and interface with FDNY, participate in building fire and evacuation drills, and management of all related logs and reports. The position is considered "essential personnel" and is required to provide administrative, management, individual support, and various other duties, as needed, during and outside regular working hours, including institution closures and duties associated with emergencies and scheduled and unscheduled events.
