Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure that the Draft abides by company messaging and flag any areas that may need to be checked out either by me or by subject matter experts.</li><li>Validates all statistics and claims are accurately cited with links to primary sources.</li><li>Checks drafts to ensure they doesn't include any false or misleading claims.</li><li>Ensures drafts do not go into any unnecessary tangents or detail.</li><li>Conversely, that there are not any gaps that require additional information.</li><li>Ensures that all material is in active voice and that grammar and punctuation are correct.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or similar field.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in copy editing.</li><li>Experience with Google workspace including Google Docs and Drive.</li><li>Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Chicago Manual Style citation.</li></ul>
