The successful candidate should be comfortable as a doer on day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The Project Accounting Manager should be experienced in all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, financial consolidation, and an in-depth knowledge of internal control policies and procedures. You will be working on projects throughout several different divisions so collaboration is a must. This position will also be responsible for the oversight of payroll for 6 divisions using Paylocity. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Process and/or oversee bi-weekly and weekly payroll processing for 6 divisions.</li><li>Lead the finance function in ERP implementations, including planning and executing UAT. Solid understanding of ERP systems and how transactions flow and impact the relevant subsidiary ledgers and general ledger. </li><li>Support SOX implementation </li><li>Assist Corporate Controller with the management of all accounting operations.</li><li>Research technical accounting issues for compliance with US GAAP, as needed.</li><li>Develop and document business processes and accounting policies and maintain and strengthen internal controls. Assist with streamlining and harmonizing accounting processes across multiple sites. </li><li>Lead cross-training initiatives.</li><li>Provide cost support to business units as requested. Also support bids for new business.</li><li>Work with Corporate Controller to understand performance standards and other metrics to drive improvement in operational performance.</li><li>Additional Staff Accounting duties, as assigned.</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA is strongly preferred. </li><li>Preferably 7+ years' experience in financial accounting in a manufacturing environment required.</li><li>Proficient with the use of ERP systems and ability to pull detail data to support account analysis.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Proficiency in Excel is required.</li><li>Excellent written and communication skills.</li><li>Excellent time management, project management and planning skills required.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and work with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Energetic, passionate and positive can-do attitude a must.</li><li>Paylocity experience a plus.
