The Career Services Coordinator is responsible for: providing counseling and assistance concerning career and technical education decisions, administering cooperative education programs, establishing relationships with potential employers, continuously increasing the number, and improving the quality of job/internship/service learning opportunities, coordinating employer/partner recruitment activities, organizing career/job fairs, maintaining on-line career center management system, advising students and alumni on job/internship search related activities, collaborating with faculty and staff regarding job development/recruitment efforts and coordinating placement surveys/reports. The System will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in the System's programs, services, and activities, including qualified sign language interpreters, assistive listening devices, documents in Braille, and other ways of making communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or vision impairments.
