Looking for a boost in pay? The retailers are hiring right now on Monster. In addition, here are the five best-paying retailers and their salary breakdowns so you are sure to get properly compensated for your work.

1. Polo Ralph Lauren | Average Salary Range: $39,771 to $176,326

Polo Ralph Lauren comes in at number one with the highest salary range of all retail companies. The highest earner is the senior director of creative services that makes anywhere between $123,992 and $286,412. Sales associates ring in, on average, $17,187 to $21,997. The largest salary range is for the marketing director who can earn anywhere from $49,228 to $181,044 based on experience.

2. The Gap, Inc. | Average Salary Range: $56,042 to $167,136

The Gap, Inc. comes in second with an average salary range that is higher on the lower end that Polo Ralph Lauren. The highest earning position is business intelligence architect with a salary of $111,702 to $175,779, with the capability of a bonus of anywhere from $2,458 to $23,691. The sales associate salaries are comparable to those of Polo Ralph Lauren ranging from $17,084 to $23,489. The largest salary range is for the software engineer, earning anywhere between $64,844 to $164,515.

3. Ross Stores | Average Salary Range: $48,533 to $146,814

Ross Stores comes in third at a significant decrease in the higher-end salaries from Polo Ralph Lauren and The Gap. There is less information on the specific breakdown of salaries at Ross Stores but one of the higher salaries is for program managers in marketing that make an average of $79,558. Assistant store managers make an average salary of $42,000 at Ross Stores, which is comparable to at The Gap with an average salary is $45,418. The retail managers have an average salary of $58,533.

4. Saks Fifth Avenue | Average Salary Range: $39,732 to $146,627

Saks Fifth Avenue comes in fourth very close behind Ross Stores. Ross Stores is a discount retailer with its highest paid position being the vice president of merchandising, which can make anywhere from $96,439 to $309,252. This is a larger salary than any salary listed for the top three retailers and is also the largest salary range of any of the positions at Saks Fifth Avenue. Meijer, Inc. pays its retail managers an average salary of $50,101, which is significantly less than Polo Ralph Lauren ($80,942), The Gap ($65,894) but is only slightly less than Saks Fifth Avenue ($58,072) and Ross Stores ($58,533). Three of the largest salaries at Meijer go to the food safety specialist at $71,216, the merchandise planner at $75,259 and the construction project manager at $75,250.
