Solution Architect Resume Sample

Extend your clear-sightedness and a sense of equilibrium between tech skills and business acumen.

By Omar Sommereyns, Monster Contributor

Companies love you. Because you’re the supreme problem-solver—one who’s able to harness the power of technology to untangle business problems or analytical blockages and then design solutions in the form of software or hardware that simply makes everything flow better. This kind of fluidity and clear-sightedness needs to be prominently woven throughout your solution architect resume as well.

But take heed of these extra pointers too:

  • Write a solution-architect career summary that shows how you have the tech prowess to create the right frameworks and how you also understand the business side and its various operational layers.
  • Demonstrate how you’ve followed through on implementation and project management. Do so with numbers and examples. How did you lead the solution-development team to success? What platforms or tech-stacks did you use? How did you make sure each milestone was reached within the project schedule?
  • Explain how you’re always thinking about the future with predictive thought-processes—how your applications may scale in the coming months or years and how you’ve administered a maintenance structure too.
  • Lay out all the technology and software you’ve worked with. And add any certifications you may have in the “Education” section of your solution architect resume.

Lastly, don’t embellish with vague statements. Just stick to the facts. And re-read your content to avoid spelling errors or grammatical slip-ups. Then take some cues from our template below.
